Call For Presentation
Proposals For 2005 TAA Convention
TAA is soliciting
presentation proposals for its 2005 convention at the Imperial Palace
Hotel in Las Vegas, Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25, 2005. Deadline
for submissions is February 1. The 50-minute presentations can be in
the form of a panel discussion, an interview or informal debate, or
an interactive presentation (Q&A, survey, simulation, etc.). Interested
parties should submit their one-page proposal via e-mail as an attachment
to Convention Co-chair John Wakefield at jfwakefield@una.edu.
Include the name(s) of the presenter(s), affliation(s), title of presentation,
mode of presentation, and presentation summary (no more than 200 words).

To Lead Convention With Vegas Geo-Primer
Geography author
Robert Christopherson will orient TAA Convention attendees to the greater
Las Vegas area through a visual presentation of Las Vegas' geography.
Christopherson's presentation will follow a welcome from TAA President
Mike Sullivan.

TAA To Offer
Concurrent Convention Sessions
TAA plans to host
concurrent presentations during the 2005 Convention in Las Vegas to
accommodate both new and experienced authors. However, all attendees
will be brought together for presentations on topics that are particularly
broad and timely, says Convention Co-chairs John Wakefield and Jay Black.
